For daring to demand for Self-Determination Nigeria's secret police releases lists wanted Biafran Nationalists: Uchechi Kanu, Emma Mmezu, Emma Powerful and others. See full list

For daring to demand for the self-determination of Biafra, the Nigerian secret police, the Directorate of State Security (DSS) has released list of wanted Biafran Nationalists. Prominent names among the list include Uchechi Kanu, the wife of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), IPOB spokespersons: Dr Clifford Iroanya and Barr Emma Mmezu, and Emma Powerful (who they recently failed to link with the TRIPOB).



Curiously the name of IPOB deputy leader, Uche Mefor was missing in the list.

According to a twitter user @Biafra_Europe, Nigeria's secret police, DSS headquarters in Abuja have released a list of wanted Biafra agitators both in Nigeria and diaspora. The account's post reads: “Biafra list on Notice board of the Nigeria SSS HQ in Aso Drive Abuja, August 2016, please expose and share.”

As written on the above paper:

Please include the following names to the federal data base and inform all relevant security department on wanted Biafra members, please note some of the listed names are not presently in the country.

Self-determination is not a crime. In fact it is recognised by the United Nations as a fundamental human right. Muhammadu Buahri has called for the self-determination of Palestine and Western Sahara.
