Blasphemy killing:‎ Ohanaeze set to shut down Kano over release of Mrs. Bridget Aghahime Murder suspects
Following the discharge of suspected killers of an Igbo woman, Mrs. Bridget Aghahime by a Magistrate court in Kano, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide, has threatened to shut down the city of Kano if justice was not allowed to take its full course.

Friday, 11th November has already been fixed for all round protest in kano over the judgment.
Ohanaeze insisted that a magistrate court which has no jurisdiction over the trial of murder cases cannot order the release of the suspects without the support of the Kano State Government, describing the act as capable of encouraging hoodlums to commit more atrocities against Ndigbo living i‎n the state.

The youth group urged Ndigbo living in Kano to come out en mass on Friday 11 November 2016 to protest against the judgment, which saw Agbahiwe’s suspected killers released from detention, adding that its National President, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, would lead the protest.
