Nnamdi Kanu gets elected as the President of a powerful Eastern Nigeria think tank 

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu has been elected as the leader the of the powerful Eastern Consultative Assembly (ECA).
The ECA had announced a new leadership structure with detained the IPOB leader as its head. Kanu in his letter written from Kuje Prisons accepted to play the new role and pledged not to let the people down.
