The Federal Government seems to have abandoned a 30-year roadmap for infrastructure development for Nigeria, known as the Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP). The National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP) is a 30- year roadmap for building world class infrastructure that will guarantee sustainable economic growth and development in Nigeria. It would have enabled the country bridge its huge infrastructure deficit by taking advantage of the vast opportunities in the domestic and global economies to improve the quality of life of the citizenry.
