1. KASU is NOT among the 22 Universities accredited by NUC to award honorary degree.
2. KASU was established 10 years ago and had never graduated a PhD student and a university can't award a honorary when it doesn't have a regular.
3. There's an existing law that bans the award of Honorary degree to persons still in office. Same goes with chieftaincy titles.
