After a deliberate false news by the AFP linking Biafran nationalists as culprits behind the alleged plot to bomb the 3rd mainland Bridge, AFP has come out to deny the report alongside the reporter. According to the report titled Nigerian Police say they have foiled a Biafran Separatist Attack “The main suspect is an Igbo, a native of the Ese Odo region of Ondo State. He is an expert in explosives, a specialist in the manufacture of large scale explosive devices for terrorist purposes.” The Indigenous People of Biafra through their spokespersons Dr Clifford Iroanya and Barr Emma Mmezu, called on the AFP to apologise for the false report.

As Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his agents are running out of ideas on how to tag the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist organization in order to justify before the international community the laughable secret trial of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, they have once again been caught “pants down“ in one of their lying schemes. On this occasion, Buhari has paid media organizations to concoct a story on the arrest of a Biafran from the Igbo-speaking area who is planning to bomb a bridge in Lagos. Unfortunately, Buhari’s media client did a very poor job of his assignment, thereby leaving a gaping hole in the entire story that could make Buhari call for the return of the money he paid to the media organization.

We would like to remind all humanity that Muhammadu Buhari committed treason on December 31, 1983, when he overthrew the democratically elected government of President Alhaji Aliyu Usman Shehu Shagari. In addition to his involvement in the assassination of Major General J. T. U. Aguiyi-Ironsi and the mass-murder of over two million Biafrans at Owerri in 1968, Buhari has continually ordered the killing of Biafrans since he was awarded the presidency of Nigeria in 2015.

IPOB had warned Buhari through series of press statement and broadcasts from the Radio Biafra not to step into Biafra.

At the last minute, Buhari who wanted to use the opportunity to show his 'love' for Biafrans was cautioned by his aides to stay away from Biafra.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have received information that Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari who committed treason on December 31, 1983, and was rewarded with Nigeria’s presidency after 32 years, will be visiting Enugu-Biafraland on the 22nd of December, 2016. We assert that inviting a killer and persecutor of Biafrans to our land is an insult to the memory of those killed by Muhammadu Buhari. Therefore, we object totally to this visit by the killer of Biafrans. We recall that Buhari started his killing of Biafrans with the assassination of Major General J. T. U. Aguiyi-Ironsi on July 29, 1966. He followed up with the mass-murder of over two million Biafrans in 1968 at Owerri during the war of genocide on Biafra by Nigeria and Britain. From June 17, 2015, till date, Buhari has killed over two thousand unarmed and peaceful Biafrans.

The world must be put on notice that this female Judge lacks basic understanding of her job as well as the capability to differentiate between a private citizen and a public servant at the level of the President of a country. In her gaffe on the 1st of December 2016 which was the day she denied bail for Nnamdi Kanu, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako averred that Muhammadu Buhari’s prejudicial statement on Nnamdi Kanu’s case during his Presidential media chat of December 30, 2015, was a mere comment from a private citizen which he (Buhari) is entitled to as part of his fundamental human right. We are not surprised that on the night of the same day of her gaffe, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako had a dinner at the Presidential Villa with Muhammadu Buhari.
